Reason 1: The power supply of the surveillance camera is insufficient, causing the surveillance camera to fail to work normally. The independent power supply can directly replace the qualified power supply. For a centralized power supply, use a multimeter to test the voltage and current of the DC head output from the large power supply to the surveillance camera.
Solution: Replace a qualified surveillance power adapter. Sometimes the infrared light of the surveillance camera does not turn on, or it may be caused by the insufficient power supply of the surveillance camera.
Reason 2: The wiring problem, the quality of the wire is not good, or the connector is not connected properly.
Solution: Check the specifications of the wire, and use a short-distance wire to rule out whether the quality of the wire is not good, causing the transmission distance to be too short. The crystal head of the network cable is to check whether the line sequence is correct or not, generally the standard 568B line sequence is connected; if it is simulated, check whether the BNC head is connected properly. Also, exclude the on-off of the power cord and the network cable or the video cable to avoid the line disconnection caused by rats or other reasons.
Cause 3: Switch problem. For POE switches, you need to check whether the power supply is insufficient or whether the current switch is a standard protocol. Whether each port of the switch is normal. Generally, the series connection of switches cannot exceed level 3, and problems such as disconnection are likely to occur when the switch exceeds level 3.
Solution: Replace the switch or reduce the switch, change the connection method of the switch.
